امیدواریم همگی در کنار خانواده هایتان سالم و شاد باشید. همین طور امیدواریم جشن شب یلدا، تعطیلات کریسمس و سال نوی مسیحی ۲۰۲۴ به شما حسابی خوش گذشته باشد.
هالووین
در روز یکشنبه ۲۹ اکتبر، بسیاری از دانش آموزان و آموزگاران با لباس های رنگارنگ و زیبا به مدرسه آمدند. در زنگ تفریح آخر همه بچه ها و آموزگاران در حیاط مدرسه جمع شدند و عکس انداختند.
جشن شب یلدا
هوا سرد شده و فصل زمستان در راه است. ایرانیان آخرین شبِ فصل پاییز که بلندترین شب سال است را شب چله بزرگ یا شب یلدا می نامند و آن را جشن می گیرند. ایرانیان در این شب با خانواده و دوستان دور هم جمع می شوند، قصه می گویند، شعر می خوانند و شب زنده داری می کنند. از خوردنی های مرسوم در جشن شب یلدا می توان به هندوانه، انار و آجیل شیرین یلدا اشاره کرد.
برنامه جشن یلدای مدرسه در روز یکشنبه ۱۷ دسامبر ۲۰۲۳ در مدرسه اجرا شد.
در ساعت آخر دانش آموزان، آموزگاران و عده ای از پدر مادر ها در محوطه چمن مدرسه گرد آمدند. سفره بسیار زیبای یلدا توسط خانم هاشمی چیده شده بود. سپس از دانش آموزان سوالاتی در باره جشن های ملی توسط مدیر مدرسه پرسیده شد و به دانش آموزانی که پاسخ درست دادند جایزه داده شد. در پایان از همه با آش رشته ، آجیل و میوه پذیرایی شد.

Halloween
On Sunday, October 29, 2023, most of the students and teachers came to school with colorful costumes. During the last recess they all got together and took pictures.
Yalda Celebration
Celebrating Yalda is one of the oldest traditions in Iran and many other cultures in the region. Yalda is the first night of winter and corresponds with the Winter Solstice. Yalda is the longest night of the year. From that night on, the nights get shorter and days become longer until the Spring Equinox (Nowruz). Yalda comes from the birthday of Mitra, the sun god. It is based on the ancient Iranian belief of light vs. dark, good vs. evil.
On Sunday, December 17, 2023, the students, teachers, and some parents gathered in the grass area in front of a beautiful Yalda table. First they sang the “Ey Iran” song, then they listened to the principal while learning about Iranian cultural celebrations and Yalda. Then they answered questions about the subject and won prizes. The ceremony continued by serving Ash Reshteh, Ajil, and fruits.
At the end, students and teachers gathered around the Yalda table and took pictures.
