Halloween Celebration

On Sunday, November 2, 2025, students and teachers alike donned colorful costumes for a festive day at school. During the final recess, everyone came together for a group photo, capturing the joyful spirit of the occasion.

Yalda Celebration

Yalda is one of the oldest traditions in Iran and several other cultures in the region. Celebrated on the first night of winter, it coincides with the Winter Solstice and marks the longest night of the year. From this night onward, the nights gradually shorten, and the days lengthen until the Spring Equinox (Nowruz). Yalda is deeply rooted in the celebration of the birthday of Mitra, the sun god, symbolizing the ancient Iranian belief in the eternal struggle between light and darkness, good and evil.

On Sunday, December 14, 2025, students, teachers, and some parents gathered on the grass in front of a beautifully arranged Yalda table. The celebration commenced with the singing of “Ey Iran,” followed by a talk from the principal about Iranian cultural traditions and the significance of Yalda. Students then participated in a quiz on the topic, earning prizes for correct answers. The ceremony concluded with a delicious serving of Ash Reshteh, Ajil, and various fruits, before everyone gathered around the Yalda table for photos.
